Is Enzo Benzo Italian Bakery & Cafe Gluten-free?

Our Bakery specializes in traditional Italian recipes, which do include Gluten. While we take great care in preparing  our product, we are not a gluten-free bakery. We do offer a variety of delicious baked goods made with authentic ingredients like flour, butter, and eggs. 

*** Please note, we cannot guarantee the absence of gluten in any of our products, as cross-contamination can occur during the baking process. If you have a gluten intolerance or allergy, we recommend consulting with our team before placing your order.

Due to increased interest and production time, we are not currently accepting orders by phone or online. You may place orders via email or in person. Same day orders are not guaranteed and handled on case by case basis. For catered or special events, please send an email with your catering or event details with a summary of the items that you are considering. Once confirmed, we will work with you to customize your request to your special event.

** Please note: Your order request should include both quantity and flavors desired; as well as, the date and time you would like to pickup your order so that we may ensure timely confirmation. Any requests for events outside normal business hours are currently not available.

Important Update! We have moved from our original Berwick Location to our new Coastal Maine Location in Eliot in February 2025.

Our new Italian Bakery & Cafe is located at 987 Harold L Dow Highway (ME-236) in Eliot, Maine. We are wheelchair accessible and have plenty of parking. The cafe enjoys plenty of seating both inside and out with a size-able outdoor patio to enjoy your delicious goodies “al fresco” (weather permitting of course).

WHAT IS AN ENZO BENZO?

An Enzo Benzo is not like a typical donut. It is super light and fluffy and not overly sweet. This is achieved by utilizing high quality European flour in conjunction with our special plant-based fillings. They are generally half the calories of a typical donut, and these ingredients result in a purity of flavors. Trust us when we say that "You will be able to taste the difference!"
